After learning the basics of cooking at the Hotel New Otani Kobe, he entered the world of French cuisine at the Michelin 1-star restaurant Orpheus. After studying under Chef Shinya Muraki from Jean Moulin at Arima Sanso Gosho Bessho, he became the head chef.
At Hotel Plaza Kobe, he pioneered a unique world of French cuisine that makes the most of Setouchi ingredients, and became the head chef of un-treize from April 2022. He has a deep knowledge of wine, such as obtaining a sommelier qualification.
